The Ski Resort
As far as New Year Ski holidays, Sainte Foy is not the first ski resort that typically comes to mind. A small, unpretentious French ski resort, with its limited bars and restaurants, this is a New Year Year ski holiday destination that will appeal more to ski New Year guests that are looking for great skiing and a more refined and understated New Years Eve celebration.
Whilst not very well known amongst many skiers, those that do know Sainte Foy hold it in high regard, New Year Ski staff included. Forget the piste map and the apparent lack of pistes, this is a great ski area with extensive New Year skiing to be had both in the marked and unmarked off-piste ski areas. The marked are great controlled ski areas that allow intermediates to really test their skiing at New Year in a new and exciting way. ,br/>
Three off-piste ski areas, Shapers Paradise, Zone Techniride and Off Tracks literally sit between the pisted runs and are just a great way to get into off-piste skiing. And for the beginners amongst your New Year ski holiday party there is a nursery slope with a travelator (magic carpet). There is a long green slope and a blue slopes too, although the latter is limited in terms of scope.
All in all Sainte Foy has real charm, great scenery and good skiing fo a quiet New Year ski holiday with friends and / or family.
